Azerbaiyan 2006
El mar, los botes, el sol.
Lo recuerdo todo.
Recuerdo aquella minúscula felicidad.
El susurro.
El pedazo de cielo soleado,
el ímpetu y la busca de la felicidad,
las risas y el oleaje del mar,
la arena fina y el barco de papel,
el viento cansado y la belleza engañosa.
Lo recuerdo todo.
Todo, verdaderamente todo,
hasta el momento
en que la noche se acercó con sigilo a la inquietud
y abrió la puerta a la soledad.

The sea, the boats, the sun.
I remember everything.
I remember that tiny happiness.
The whispering.
The patch of a sunny sky,
the rush and pursuit of happiness,
the laughter and the surf of the sea,
the fine sand and the paper boat,
the tired wind and the deceptive beauty.
I remember everything.
Everything, really everything,
until the moment
the night crept up on the unrest
and opened the door to solitude.
